Summary of events over the last year

• Got retrenched in April 2023 after nearly 20 years with the firm.

• Got a decent severance given the long employment history

• Did a lot of networking via linked in and completed a number of trainings on linked in

• No interviews or calls

• Getting disappointed in general with the status

• Focused on learning more on stock trading

• Spent a lot of time learning Tradingview

• Tried my hand at Pinescript for trading automations

• Both turned bust after nearly 3 months of work

• Switched to trading options

• Spent the next 3 months on learning trading options

• Invested a ton on 0DTE for SPX and NDX

• Won some and lost some

• Expanded further to Selling options with a product agnostic view

• Switched broker from IB to TastyTrade

• Nearly 1 year in, not really sure if i want to do a 9 to 5 job anymore but not sure if I am ready to invest capital to make trading my full time job.

• Wish me luck, next update should have some more clarity on how life progresses.
